Practical lessons, done-for-you templates and live insight into setting up, running and growing your bookkeeping business…whichever stage you’re at!

Hi, I’m Amy Hooke,

I’ve been bookkeeping for over 20 years now. And in 2017 I closed my bookkeeping business forever. I’d had enough of the stress, the client headaches and I wondered if there was something else that would be better suited for me.

At least, that’s what I thought!

In January 2019 I started Off the Hook Bookkeeping again…but this time it’s an experiment.

I’ve always been passionate about sharing my knowledge with other bookkeepers, because I believe that bookkeepers hold a very important role in the life of a business. And in the financial integrity of our nation!

But I know my fellow bookkeepers sometimes struggle like I did, in different areas of the business like sales and marketing, pricing and processes.

After I closed my bookkeeping business in 2017, I founded The Savvy Bookkeeper, to teach other bookkeepers in business identify, find and engage new clients, set up package pricing and build awesome teams. But during this experiment I’m doing it a bit differently…Instead of teaching you…

I’m going to show you.

HOW exactly will I show you?

By re-setting up and growing my business again. But this time allowing you to watch everything I’m doing and sharing my learnings (and even some of my templates) as we go.

Welcome to The Bookkeeping Project.
